There are many reasons why we journal. From travel journalsdream journalsgratitude journals to prayer journals, we keep specific journals for different aspects of our life. In the past, many people kept personal journals, where they recorded the day’s events and their observations.

Without Albert Einstein, Marie Curie, Frida Kahlo, Leonardo da Vinci, and Frederick Douglass, we would not know much about the personal side of our history.

I had to post this really interesting read about how back pain can mask something more serious. According to a recent article in The Sun’s Health Section – a Mum whose back pain was diagnosed as fibromyalgia was shocked to find she in fact a deadly disease. Fiona Williams, 46, of Wishaw, Scotland, grew concerned about her agonising symptoms in 2019.

She went to the doctors on several occasions for pain all over her body constantly and in 2019 I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. However, the truth behind Fiona’s pain didn’t come clear until tests were carried out for another problem.

OSTEOARTHRITIS & BURSITIS ARE TWO PAINFUL CONDITIONS…

As my readers know I have been having a ‘pain-free‘ time after having bilateral sacroiliac injections for my SIJ pain. On week six from having the injections, I started to feel some of the symptoms coming back but only on my right side.

Pain after walking mainly in my hip, pain putting my right shoe on, pain while standing, pain getting out of the car but only on the right side, pain doing housework and worst of all pain in the night when I turn onto my right side ( my favourite sleeping side).

Yesterday I had my follow up appointment and I was keen to tell him how successful it has all been until week six. He was delighted with the results and said if it all came back like it was before then his next procedure would be the Radio Frequency Ablation of my sacroiliac joints…
